TSM Academy offers Continuing Bible Study and lessons in Bible interpretation. The courses are offered through correspondence by email. Lessons are sent based on the student's own pace of study. For course descriptions and details Click Here.

Upon completion of a course, a TSM Academy Certificate of Completion is issued for the specified
course in recognition of the student's achievement. When a student
satisfactorily completes a specified series of courses a TSM Academy Diploma

TSM Academy was founded in 1999 by John and Marie Shea through The Shea Ministries, Inc (TSM), a non-profit organization, to facilitate Biblical and Truth studies through electronic media. Study courses offered via the internet and through correspondence via postal mail are based on the study material used by Christ Center for Everyday Living (CCEL), an affiliate of TSM. CCEL was founded in 1984 as a Bible Study group located Western New York. Both TSM and CCEL are currently based on Grand Island, New York, located in the Niagara River. We are about 16 kilometers south of Niagara Falls and Canada and 15 kilometers north of Buffalo, New York. |

The current teaching staff of Shea Academy consists of three members. All
of our teachers have extensive backgrounds in Biblical history, Scripture,
and Religious Studies.
Rev. John Robert Shea (Email Contact)
Co-founder of TSM, graduate of the Unity School of Religious Studies and the University of New York at Buffalo with a BA history major specializing both in Early Modern and Ancient Religious History. After completing his seminary studies for an MTS, Rev. John Shea continued his ministry by co-founding The Shea Ministries (TSM) with his wife Marie. He is the president of the Board of Directors of TSM, administrative chairperson and instructor for TSM Academy, and is a staff author and editor of The Silent Word Newsletter. He has been teaching religious studies since 1983. Rev. John Robert Shea was ordained into the Judeo-Christian Ministry in 1998.
Rev Marie Ann Shea (Email Contact)
Co-founder of TSM, graduate of the Unity School of Religious Studies and the University of New York at Buffalo. Rev. Marie Ann Shea is a History major specializing both in Early Modern and Ancient Religious History. She has also made extensive studies into Jewish history and Jewish medieval writings. After completing her seminary studies for an MTS, Rev. Marie Shea continued her ministry by co-founding The Shea Ministries with her husband John. She is Vice-President of the Board of Directors, serves as Chaplain of The Christ Center Chapel, Chairperson of Religious Studies for TSM Academy, and is a staff author and feature writer for The Silent Word Newsletter. She has been teaching religious and scriptural studies since 1983. Rev. Marie Ann Shea was ordained into the Judeo-Christian Ministry in 1998.
Rev. Patricia Ann Spencer (Email Contact)
Trustee on the Board of Directors for TSM, graduate of the University of Newcastle, Australia. Rev. Spencer holds a BA in Religious History, is a licensed teacher at TSM Academy with over 14 years experience, and serves in the Christ Center Prayer Chapel. She also serves as course design consultant for TSM Academy. Rev. Spencer was ordained into the Judeo-Christian Ministry in 2001.
